NCYC Guidelines
To help keep everything organized and running smoothly, please follow the steps below as you prepare your group for NCYC:
Step 1: Complete Your Participant Spreadsheet
Start by filling out your group’s participant spreadsheet. This tool helps you stay organized by tracking each participant’s contact information, t-shirt size, and form completion status. Accurate email addresses and mobile numbers are essential for the next steps in the registration process.
Step 2: Submit Shirt Design Vote & T-Shirt Sizes — Due August 1
Collect two things from your participants:
Youth participants’ vote for the diocesan shirt design.
Their t-shirt size.
Note: All shirts are adult unisex sizes. Sizes should be collected for both youth and adult participants in your group.
Once all responses are in, submit the total shirt votes and size quantities using the shirt voting & size ordering form.

Each participant must complete a Diocesan Liability Form. Group leaders are responsible for reviewing all forms to ensure they are fully completed and include a valid hand-written signature from the appropriate party (e.g., parent/guardian or adult participant).
Once forms are complete make at least three (3) copies sending in the original:
Mail the original copy to the Diocese of Davenport (Attn: Colleen Darland, 780 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport IA 52804).
Keep one copy at the parish.
Send one copy with the group leader to NCYC.
Give one copy to the participant to carry with them during the event.

Step 4: Complete the NFCYM Online Registration Portal — Due August 28
Each participant must also be registered through the NFCYM online portal, which includes all required NCYC event liability and registration forms. Ensure this is completed accurately and by the designated deadline. Accurate email addresses and mobile numbers are essential for the next steps in the registration process.
Step 5: Keep Your Participant Spreadsheet
Hang on to your participant spreadsheet! It will be a valuable resource for tracking forms, managing logistics, and staying in touch with participants throughout the NCYC experience.
Step 6: Ensure Adult Compliance with Safe Environment Requirements — Due September 1
All adult participants must be Safe Environment Compliant by September 1. Group leaders are responsible for verifying that each adult has completed the required diocesan training and background check in accordance with diocesan policies.
Please consult with your parish Safe Environment Coordinator to ensure all adults in your group are fully compliant.
