What do I need to know in order to complete the Parish Registration Form?
Registration and Week Requests
Parish registration opens Monday, November 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central. Requests are considered first come, first served. Your registration timestamp will be honored when your deposit arrives within two weeks of submitting the online form.
Available parish weeks for 2027:
Week 1: June 12–18
Week 2: June 19–25
Week 3: June 26–July 2
Week 4: July 11–16
Week 5: July 17–23
Week 6: July 24–30
Choose your first, second, and third preferences from these six parish weeks. Parishes will be notified of their assigned dates before the end of November. One wildcard space is reserved for a parish with a special need or consideration.
A registration request does not guarantee a team. Placements remain subject to teams being formed.
Parish Information for Registration
Parish name and city; pastor and, if applicable, parochial vicar contact information.
Lead Parish Coordinator and Associate Parish Coordinator, including positions, email addresses, and phone numbers. Choose someone available throughout the summer.
The Lead Parish Coordinator (Primary Contact) is the person the missionaries and the diocesan team contacts first. They are responsible for overseeing and coordinating their parish's Totus Tuus program, as well as ensuring necessary arrangements and communications are handled effectively.
The Associate Parish Coordinator (Secondary Contact) is the person the missionaries and the diocesan team contact if the Lead Parish Coordinator is unavailable. They are to support and assist the Lead Parish Coordinator with the program schedule, coordinating chaperones, and other needs that may arise.
Three preferred weeks; elementary, evening, or both programs; and any partner parish’s name, city, and coordinator.

Totus Tuus 2027: Before You Commit
Missionaries Lead Ministry. The Parish Provides Supervision
The team comes to teach the faith, lead prayer and activities, and minister to young people. Your parish provides chaperones and manages attendance, behavior concerns, and pickup. Name a Parish Totus Tuus Coordinator and a backup. The coordinator or backup must be on site throughout every session. Chaperones serve in a separate role from the coordinator.
Verify Safe Environment Compliance
Chaperones must be 21 or older and Safe Environment compliant. Work with your parish’s local Safe Environment Coordinator to verify required screening and formation before adults serve.
Provide Enough Chaperones
Classroom instruction (entering grades 1–6): At least one parish chaperone, age 21 or older and Safe Environment compliant, in each active classroom, in addition to the missionary. Arrange replacement coverage whenever a chaperone steps away.
Daytime higher-risk activities:No more than eight participants per parish chaperone. This includes Friday water games, off-site outings, and other activities identified by the Parish Coordinator in consultation with the Office of Faith Formation as needing closer supervision. Round up: 60 participants require at least 8 chaperones.
Evening program (entering grades 7–12): At least two parish chaperones and no more than ten youth per chaperone. Round up: 21 youth require 3.
Who counts:Only parish chaperones actively supervising the group. Classroom chaperones may count when assigned to that activity. Keep all active classrooms covered. Missionaries, teen helpers, the Parish Coordinator, the backup while serving as coordinator, and adults occupied with other responsibilities do not count.
Include Teen Helpers in the Day Program
Teen helpers are encouraged! They can help with setup, supplies, snacks, cleanup, and activities under adult direction. They must never be responsible for supervision or count as chaperones. For supervision or care concerns, their only role is to help the participant find a chaperone or the Parish Totus Tuus Coordinator.
Reserve Spaces for the Program
Provide at least three classrooms and a large gathering space. Reserve the church for Mass and Adoration during the program, and ensure that the spaces needed for the evening program are available each evening. Coordinate these reservations with the parish calendar before committing to a week, and ensure each room can accommodate the number of participants assigned to it.
Host the Missionaries
Provide suitable housing for the full agreed stay, with men and women housed separately. Confirm arrival and departure, including any agreed Friday-night stay. Protect the team’s time for prayer, preparation, and rest.
Plan Nourishing Meals for the Whole Week
Provide all team meals, adequate portions, drinking water, and suitable snacks. Include vegetables, fruit, varied proteins, and whole grains. Balance repeated pizza, pasta, and cheese-heavy meals; supplement donations as needed. Confirm allergies and dietary needs. Good hospitality supports a demanding missionary schedule.
Count on Ongoing Diocesan Support
The Office of Faith Formation prepares and supports the missionaries and visits each team weekly to check on their well-being and ministry. These visits help ensure that parishes receive the experience they hope for. Contact the Office for help with preparation or urgent concerns, and discuss hosting questions before paying the deposit.
