What is the Covenant of Love Ministry?
Covenant of Love uses Marriage Mentors to help couples live the Christ-centered, joy-filled marriage God intends.  It equips couples with practical tools for everyday life and with the knowledge of God's plan for marriage, enabling them to nurture their love for each other as they continue to grow in their own relationship with Christ. 

Who will benefit? 
Essentially, every married or engaged couple can benefit from journeying with a Covenant of Love marriage mentor through this process.  

What are Marriage Mentor Couples?
Covenant of Love Marriage Mentors are trained volunteer couples who accompany other married or engaged couples into a deeper understanding and living of the fullness God intends for marriage. Marriage Mentors listen closely to the issues married couples raise and support them in establishing goals that matter the most to them. 

How are Mentor Couples assigned?
Couples may request to work with a specific Marriage Mentor Couple from either the Diocese of Davenport or the Archdiocese of Dubuque (see links below) or may choose to have the diocesan Marriage and Family Office help in selecting a Mentor Couple for them. What is the cost? 
There is a $25 per couple materials fee which covers the entire mentoring process. Couples may request a fee waiver should this fee be a hindrance. A couple will never be turned away for financial reasons. 

How does the process work? 
After a couple's registration forms and materials fee have been received, someone from the Marriage and Family Life office at the Diocese of Davenport will follow-up with the couple to pair them with a Marriage Mentor couple, grant them access to the Covenant of Love website portal where the video content and other resources will be available, and answer any questions or concerns they might have about the process. Once paired with a mentor couple, the Marriage Mentors will make contact to introduce themselves and make arrangements to begin the first of six couple sessions.
