Manuals for Catholic Scouting emblem programs can be purchased at your local scout shop, or online from scoutshop.org.
If Pack/Troop leader is wanting to start an emblem program at the Cub or Scouts BSA
1. See if there is interest in the pack or troop. Download the PDF of the specific emblem and send to the parents.
2. Do a presentation with the pack or troop to discuss the details of the program, timelines and format.
3. Purchase the emblem book and the facilitator book.
4. Obtain all signatures and follow booklet instructions.
5. Follow program guidelines. Maintain 2 deep leadership at all times.
6. If you have questions during the program, please reach out to the diocese or to a DCCS Representative.
7. When the program is completed, please notify the diocese and send copies of the completed forms over to the diocese with payment for the emblems.
8. If it is an emblem for a Scouts BSA, call a DCCS representative for a Board of Review.
9. Present the emblems in a meaningful format. Such as Scout Sunday, Bishop's Mass or Court of Honor.

Adult Recognition Programs:
There are several adult recognitions available, including the St. George Award and the Bronze Pelican. Information on these awards can be found on this NCCS webpage.
