Applying for Admission

Housing/Host Families

Our schools  do not arrange for housing or host parents. We have approved placement programs that you can use. 

Traveling outside the United States

• Travel Packet completed and submitted to principal and PDSO 2 weeks prior to travel.
• Is page 2 of I-20 signed by PDSO with date less than 1 year?
  • Yes, you can travel with that I-20
  • No, please send this to PDSO to have it signed and dated 
    • Failure to do this will result of denial at the port of entry when they return

• Current I-94
• Visa (if it expires when out of the country it has to be renewed before returning to USA)
• Passport (if it expires when out of the country it has to be renewed before returning to USA)
• I-20 page 1 and 2 with your signatures and PDSO signatures
• Letter of Acceptance for the current school year
• Current transcript
• Emergency number for school person and PDSO
• Proof of financial responsibility

Tuition varies depending on the school that is chosen. Please see the school website to get the newest tuition and school academic dates. This does not include living expenses, stipend to the host families, etc.

• Year's tuition and fees are due at the time of registration. 
• Please discuss this with the school advisor for that school.

Transfer In from another USA approved F1 program:

If you are looking for a great place to continue your American education, with educators that value student contact and excited to learn from international students, then you've found the right place! Transferring into your choice of school in the Diocese of Davenport is a simple process.

• Register in Powerschool
• Fill out the Form "Transfer In" 
• Pay the required fees ($300processing)
• The school will contact you to arrange for interview and acceptance letter
• Once you are accepted the school advisor will contact the diocesan PDSO.
• Paperwork and fee will be reviewed and an I20 will be issued by the diocesan PDSO.

Transfer Out of our school to another approved F1 school/university/college.
 The process is very simple but needs to be done by no later than May 1. This will insure all paperwork is completed in time before your I-20  expires. 

• Contact the college or university of your choice, school has to be an F1 approved school.
• When you receive your acceptance letter, have the college/university complete the transfer out paperwork. 
• You will be transferred as of the last day of school and all outstanding fees are paid.
• The college/university will then issue you an I-20 from their facility and send to you.
