The Diocese of Hakha is located in the mountainous region of Chin State in northwestern Myanmar. It is a mission-oriented diocese, serving people who continue to face many pastoral, social, and economic challenges due to civil war. With limited local resources, the diocese strives to support.

The Diocese have witnessed several terrorist attacks by Jihadists on churches, homes, and schools and lamented with compassion for the suffering victims. This group will visit the following parishes: St. Patrick, Delmar; Assumption & St. Patrick (Charlotte);Immaculate Conception Church (Petersville)
The Diocese occupies a total area of 2,884 km2 covering the entire Nandi County government. From the 2019 National population census, the diocese has a total population of approximately, 885,711 with an estimated over 313,655 Catholic, representing 35.4% of the population in the region. Currently, the diocese has 38 parishes with 53 local diocesan priests. One parish was created in September 2025 due to the growing Catholic population.
The funds from the MCP will enable them to:
Provide formation for 30 seminarians preparing for priest hood,
Offer basic health care and education to children in backward and tribal areas,
strengthen rural missions by ensuring daily sustenance and medical aid for missionaries ,
Extend support to humanitarian initiatives including care for differently abled children,
individuals with physical and mental disabilities, and elderly women residing in the destitute home.

The Diocese of Aitape is a remote Diocese serving about 160,000 Catholics in 33 parishes, many in mountainous areas and islands with few resources. We currently have only 20 priests, including the retired and the sick.

They work in the Archdioceses of Havana, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Quetzaltenango (Guatemala), San Juan and Washington and in the Dioceses of Lexington, Ponce and Tabasco (Mexico). In these locations, we generally minister in schools and parishes.
